Dress projects with a linen option
- 1950s Shirtwaist Dress: a defined waist, button-front bodice and full skirt; the fabric needs enough body for the collar and silhouette.
- 1960s Shift Dress: a sleeveless shape with bust darts, a relaxed waist and slight hem flare; a stable linen blend is the planned direction.
Tops, shirts and separates
- Pleated Sleeveless Top: released shoulder pleats and a button front suited to a soft linen blend with controlled bulk.
- Men's Camp Collar Shirt: an open collar, short sleeves and a straight hem, with softly draping woven shirting as the fabric approach.
- Tailored Pleated Shorts: a fitted waistband, front pleats and a zip fly; choose a linen blend with enough body to hold a crease.
- Darted A-Line Skirt: waist darts and side-seam flare, with linen suiting among the proposed fabric options.
- Boat-Neck Side-Slit Tunic: a loose pull-on body with cut-on sleeves and side openings at the hem, intended for a softly draping woven.
An apron project
- Side-Tie Cobbler Apron: separate front and back panels with side ties and a divided patch pocket; a washable linen blend is a proposed choice.
Match cloth to construction
Start with the fabric guidance on the individual product page. Check opacity, recovery after washing, seam bulk and the way a folded sample hangs. A soft blend may suit gathers or released pleats, while a collar, waistband or shaped skirt may need more body. Knit linen is not a substitute for the non-stretch woven approach used in this selection.
This collection brings the existing designs together by fabric direction. Each product retains its own construction, size requirements and preparation status. Confirm fabric suitability with Sewlore before buying cloth.
Preparation and delivery
These listings cover preparation of a PDF sewing pattern and an English guide after purchase. They are not instant downloads or finished garments. Final size charts, material quantities, print layouts and page counts are confirmed when prepared. Digital delivery is within 1 business day, Monday to Friday, by the end of the next business day in Istanbul time (UTC+3). Read the preparation and delivery details.
More woven projects with a linen option
The selection also includes tailoring, aprons, historical underlayers and home projects whose briefs explicitly propose linen or a linen blend as a main fabric option. A soft garment linen and a stable furnishing linen are not substitutes for each other. Follow the individual weight, support and drape guidance, especially for stays, coats and furniture covers.
For designs developed around stretch fabric, see knit sewing patterns.
